CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY

 

Private Lessons: Like the vast majority of music teachers we require 24 hours notice in order to cancel a private lesson or the full amount will be charged. While we understand that illnesses, bad weather, work deadlines etc. often cannot be predicted, the slot you have booked cannot be filled by someone else without ample warning. When booking a package of lessons you have a fortnight’s cooling off period. Any lessons you have had will be charged at the full amount but the rest will be refunded. After this period no refunds are available. 

 

If you are late for an appointment the lesson will still finish as planned with no reimbursement. It’s fine to arrive early and to make use of our kitchen and library. Therefore please allow ample time to get to us and aim to arrive at least 5 minutes before the start time of your lesson, especially if its your first time coming.

Workshops and courses: We deliberately have a small number of people per event in order to ensure that everyone gets one to one attention. However, that does mean that we have a strict cancellation policy. The 20% deposit to secure your space is non refundable and we require two weeks notice to cancel your space or the training is charged for in full. You can enquire with us regarding a waitlist but we cannot guarantee that there will be one.

For courses there will be no refund for any missed sessions. However, all sessions are recorded on Zoom or audio depending on what's more appropriate.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

 

At The Sing Gym we want you to have the best possible training and the best possible experience. We want to give you tuition that is perfect for your needs and goals. That said, your physical and mental wellbeing are your responsibility. The Sing Gym will not take any responsibility for vocal damage or any psychological damage done as part of the training. You have a choice in everything you do with us. You will encouraged to take risks e.g. perform, sing in front of a group etc. but you are never obliged to take on what we say. 

 

We can go through all these policies with you over the phone if you are unsure of anything or explain the above policies in detail during your consultation.
